Enable Task Manager When Disabled By Virus or Administrator

This post will help you to re-enable Task Manager, if your system facing task manager disabled problem. Task manager is used to view currently running programs and also used to terminate that programs. Some trojan virus cannot detected by antivirus even if it is updated. Most of the viruses will affect first on Task Manager for protecting themselves and speeding up their infections. Before proceeding this trick, run a complete scan with up-to-date antivirus. After scan, press Ctrl + Alt + Del then an error message appearing like this,

Right Click on your system tray and task manager is disabled like this,
If your system have the above problems, do the following steps,
  1. Go to Start > Run. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, go to Search
  2. Type "regedit" (without quotes) and hit enter to open Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
  4. Delete DWORD Value "DisableTaskMgr".
Restart your system, if Task Manager still disabled. You can also use another tricks for enabling Task Manager like, 
  • Using Group Policy Editor (Gpedit.msc).
  • Using Command Prompt.
  • Enable Task Manager by creating Registry Key using text editor.

Create Keyboard Shortcut For Any Program

Do you want to access your favorite programs faster? Then you might like this trick. Most of the software and Operating Systems have built-in Keyboard-Shortcuts for accessing its functions faster than regular method. For example, we use Alt + Ctrl + Del for opening Task Manager. It is simple and faster method. So we are gonna make a custom keyboard shortcut for our favorite programs. Do the following steps,

  1. Right click on your favorite program's shortcut.
  2. Take Properties
  3. Click on Shortcut Key field from Shortcut tab.
  4. Press any key from keyboard that you want to use as Shortcut.
  5. Just note your shortcut key from Shortcut Key field.
  6. Click OK to save your settings.

Now you can use your shortcut key to open your favorite program. It will save your time.

Note:

  • We can't use some of the keys like Ctrl, Alt, Tab, Shift, Enter etc.
  • To remove shortcut key do the above 1, 2, 3 step and press Del. After then click OK

Increase Virtual Memory for Better Performance

Do you want higher performance form you system, then dont waste time. Just Increase Virtual memory of your system. It will boost performance of your system. Your computer will create a file for virtual memory on hard drive, called paging file. If your RAM's memory use up by OS and some other applications, your computer will copies data from RAM to paging file. Increasing virtual memory will also increase size of paging file. Then RAM can store more data to paging file. Virtual memory also known as simulated RAM. To increase virtual memory, follow the following steps.

  1. Go to Start > Controll Panel and Click on Performance and Maintenance
  2. Click on System and select Advanced tab.
  3. Click Settings button from Performance.
  4. Select Advanced tab and click on Change button.
  5. Select a Drive have more free space.
  6. Choose custome size, then Initial Size & Maximum Size fields will enable.
  7. Now enter a memory size on Initial Size and Maximum size fields (greater than previous size).
  8. Click Set button then click OK button.

After restarting you can run some programs which require higher RAM. Restart your computer to see the difference. 

Note:

  • For better performance set same size on Initial Size & Maximum Size fields. 
  • Your system will got crashed if you set lower memory size.
