Disable Windows Xp Error Reporting Service

Windows Xp will show an error message whenever an application got crashed. This error message is displayed by windows error reporting feature. Error message offers you to send error report to Microsoft.


You can disable error reporting service if you do not want to see error message again or not want to send error report to  Microsoft. This service is better to disable when you don't have an internet connection. Follow the following steps to disable error reporting service,

1. Go to Controll Panel > System
or Controll Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System

2. Select Advanced tab from System Properties

3. Click Error Reporting button

4. Select Disable Error Reporting option

Note: You will not see any type of error message if you uncheck "Notify Me When Critical Errors Occur" option.
