We can’t create shortcut keys for restart, turn off and log off. But this trick will help you to create shortcut keys for restart, shutdown and logout. Do the following steps
1. Right Click->New->Shortcut
2. To create shortcut for restart type (without quotes) “shutdown –r” in the location of the item. Type "shutdown -l" in the location of the item to create shortcut for logout. Location "shutdown -s" for turn off.
3. Then type a name for shortcut(Turn Off or Log Off or Restart).
4. Click finish and its done.
Now double-click on the created icon to perform the actions…
